Landry's Lone STar Labradors Trainers
Three littermateLandry's Lonestar Labradors Trainers brothers place in the Derby at the Triple DQ in Norco, LA.

It is highly recommended that training begins at 5 months of age for Hunt Test or Gun Dogs; for Field Trial puppies, 12 weeks. Before that time, you may expose your puppy, at first, to shallow water on warm days. Also, introduce your puppy to birds.  Rubber bumpers will be used in training, so alternate with your puppy a bumper most of the time, with a bird occasionally. This should always be a "fun time" with no pressure.

Dogs are transported in a 12-hole custom-made, stainless steel trailer equipped with exhaust fans and 30-gallon water tank. Also, a 2-hole custom-made, dog box with fans is in the bed of the truck. Fourteen dogs can be trained and carried at one time.

Every dog is personally trained by Francis Landry who has been competing dogs since 1984. He has titled many Master Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Junior Hunters.  He has won many Derbys and Qualifyings.
